[JULY 15] - TITANS READY FOR REGIONAL
Following Wednesday night's practice, the Titans 28-man roster is set for this week's upcoming NBC Midwest Regional. The Regional runs Friday, July 17 through Thursday, July 23rd at Lawrence-Dumont Stadium in Wichita. Friday's games kick-off with the Haysville Astros facing the Lindsborg Knights at 10:00am, followed by the Wichita Rock Hounds and Valley Center Diamond-Dawgs at 1:00pm. The Titans will then face the Community Bank Cowboys at 4:00pm, and the nightcap features the Hutchinson Monarchs and El Dorado Broncos squaring off at 7:00pm. In this year's 12-team, double-elimination format, all winners will move on to play Saturday, with the losers waiting until Sunday for their match-ups.
[JUNE 29] - TITANS CLINCH LEAGUE TITLE
With a three game weekend series sweep of the RockHounds, the Wichita Titans have claimed their 4th River City League regular season championship.
The league crown officially locks up an automatic payed entry slot into the NBC Midwest Regional at Lawrence-Dumont Stadium, beginning Friday July 17th.
Until then, the 18-6 Titans will play several non-league games in preparation for the regional. Next up for the Titans is a Wednesday night match-up with the Elite Kings.
